from the trailers it seems like only ken will be the one thats humiliated as he cant even do a fireball, one of his signature moves! ryu remains ryu and will probably handle bison at the end after everyone else fails do so. and then chun will mainly just be there for fanservice/eye candy.
 
I think Chun-Li will more likely be the catalyst for the story, since she’s the one recruiting the fighters for the “World Warrior” tournament, but it’s pretty clear she’ll have her own hidden agenda of revenge against Bison. Her character should have some real weight in the story, but they shouldn’t turn the whole movie into “The Chun-Li Show” or “Chun-Li & Her Friends.”

In the games, Ken’s fireball was generally weaker than Ryu’s, with that being compensated by a more powerful Dragon Punch. As for Ryu, he looks serious and focused in the trailers, although he also seems a bit mopey and whiny, getting knocked out and then getting called out by Chun-Li for it. This was one great end fight 👊:


Btw, this is Callina Liang in 2023, and apparently she already had great legs even back then.

 
I do hope that the cultural zeitgeist around this film (or rather, her) sees a 'renaissance' in legs being percieved as sexy. I barely see people talking about how attractive nice legs are these days
 
I was about to watch this 2023 movie featuring her, but then I heard it's woke as hell, so... hard pass. (I did like the original Thai movie from 2017, though)


...or maybe I can just fast-forward through it, mute the audio, and only watch the parts where she appears 😂

To be honest, the movie was actually far better than I expected.
I watched it over a year ago and I did not know Callina back there. I enjoyed the movie anyway.
I rewatched this movie recently and it is good, still.
Plus, she slayed the role. The ending scene shows that she has the potential to be a very good actress. This bad bitch energy in this last scene was something I actually did not expect and even though entire movie's acting level was "solid", the ending slayed hard
