I was kinda on the fence about her casting at first. Since she didn't seem to have a "Chun Li build" and is a bit young for the role imo. But she won me over with some of her pics + that sauna clip. Hopefully we'll get some good fan service scenes from her.
 
Yeah she’s bad as fuck. Well endowed for an Asian, did she get surgery on her boobs? I remember her first media appearance years ago she wasn’t this busty
 
Eh, I'm still on the fence. She might be a good actress, I mean, she has to be. Otherwise it makes no sense to cast her as Chun-Li unless she acts well and\or is good at martial arts. Someone said these are younger versions of the characters and they might "grown into" their more recognizable versions in later films, if this first one does well. Hopefully she'll get way thicker by then lol. Either that or, idk, tbh I'd prefer her to be recast for an actress with a more accurate look. Not just because it'd be hotter but just cause I really like Street Fighter and this girl just ain't hitting as Chun-Li.
 
Shes never going to reach the level of the video game Chun Li. There are only 1% of Asians that have really thick thighs, and every other Asian has a BBL.
Since she is the new Chun-Li, who do you think made the best cosplay xxx video? There are a couple of good VR videos with the Chun-Li cosplay. Om

That's fair. I'm not saying it works by any means. I guess I meant, she won me over in terms of sex appeal. Since she wasn't really on my radar before the trailer. She could get thicker, but idk if it's possible for her to achieve a video game Chun-Li accurate body type. Especially Chun from SF5/SF6. Then again, I can't name any actress that does. She's obviously pretty fit though and still hot on her own.
 
i heard that ming na was Chun-Li, in old Street fighter movie going to have a cameo.
 
Everyone seems to ignore/forget that muscle suits are used all the time in superhero flicks and they could have perfectly fitted a beautiful Han Chinese girl with prosthetic fake thighs.
Not like it matters anymore, but yeah.

Seeing the work she put in to get her body right for the movie, will be waiting for her scenes with great interest lol
 
It’s very hard for Asian women to get this kind of body, so you have to respect the sheer effort she put in.
 
I didn't knew her and I don't care about the SF movie, but THAT scene in the trailer... can we have an hour of only that?
 
Literally same, the movie in general just looked like it was made for memes, but I'm sure that her scenes will be rewatched with "great interest"
 
anyone else think her ass got fatter since shooting the movie? the new tiktok her ass looks bigger. those gym tights can be deceiving sometimes so idk. hopefully we'll get to see more of it if they make another sf movie.
 
Either she really likes how she currently looks and continues improving it, or she's waiting to see if the greenlight a sequel if the first one does well. No point in losing the physique she gained and starting from scratch if they're planning a sequel
 
Everybody must go to the pictures to see this film if that's the case.
 
Judging by the trailer views and comments engagement , this will 1000% be a box office hit compared to budget. Also was a whole generation that grew up on street fighter who are all working adults now. I just hope the direction is a lot better than the last two mortal kombat films, they were practically melatonin sleeping pills
 
i think it will do pretty good idk about box office hit. maybe a light 100-200 mill box office
 
I agree, and I think promoting the movie around her and her image is a great move, since Chun-Li is just as iconic a character as the main duo, Ryu and Ken. I don't know how much she'll actually be involved in the fight scenes (apparently she does have some martial arts background), but you can definitely tell she’s put in some serious work at the gym to get those iconic legs 🦵

I just hope they don't turn her into a girl boss/Mary Sue and turn Ryu and Ken into a couple of losers who just follow her orders and get humiliated, like the way Hollywood seems to do things these days 😑
