Because if a Latino has heritage from a relative in the United States, they're not labeled as American. Or at least that's what I think.
The Latino tag should apply to those who were born in a Latin American country, not because of their ancestry. It's quite racist to appropriate an ethnicity just because of a relative. Like they did with Jenna Ortega, who doesn't even know Spanish. At least Anya knows the language and can speak it lmao

I still remember when Anya herself got hated for the Latina label they gave her, but since she's white and blonde, it's not Latino to them LMFO
 
Well, you have already admitted she is different compared to, say, Jenna Ortega, as she can speak the language and was raised in Buenos Aires. So perhaps, change the subject as this bares no relevance to her. It would, however, be something to bring up in Jenna's Discussion Thread if you feel so inclined.
 
I don't know, I feel like writing something could be misinterpreted and cause a conflict. I'm not going to lie to you, but between that and avoiding getting others upset over a few things I say, I prefer the latter.
