Unless she actually goes topless in a role, it is just optimism. The only matter of record is that other actresses have gone topless/nude in roles she might have done. That actually says nothing about whether she would have been topless playing that same role, no matter how much the role somehow required it. The concept of a movie/role is not the same thing as the finished product and who gets cast will always have an influence on it.

She's been in the business long enough, with the right kind of parts, that it easily should have happened by now and yet it hasn't. Just look at Florence Pugh, she gets topless all the time for like no reason and she dresses in similar ways. I don't think ATJ's hate of wearing bras is any indicator she's just aching to show her tits on camera but just no one will let her.
 
For this opinion to be valid, there has to be some measure of inhibition on ATJ's part to suggest she'd remove nudity from a role requiring nudity and well, we have the opposite on display. Like, Northman, that could have been an easy removal at her request, as it wasn't necessary at all. Perhaps even in the Witch as well, given her age. And her see-through shenanigans in Emma. definitely could have been vetoed with ease since they'd just have to get less transparent clothing for her to wear. And yet, we got the nudity and a fairly transparent shot of her breasts. Then there are her public displays left and right. And her request to literally do the Mermaid role, which by default is topless. A role that, yes, she was denied by Eggers. This has been confirmed by her. Lying to support your viewpoint only hurts it.

As for the comparison to Florence Pugh, ATJ is more classy. Obviously. And Florence, not so much. Again, obviously. So, the comparison is meaningless. And really, what one actress does (or does not) never has any bearing on what another does (or does not), so I see no reason to bring it up unless you have some reason for them mirroring each other. For example, let's look at Sydney Sweeney and her Euphoria co-star, Zendaya. One is topless a ton, the other is not. And despite working closely together for years, that has never rubbed off on Zendaya.

If you want to be pessimistic despite all available information, I mean, sure. But facts are what they are. And until an interview or something comes out where she specifically says she is against nudity, etc., your viewpoint really has nothing to stand on.
 
Ehh, i don't really need her to go topless. I've seen her bouncing in that thin pink spaghetti strap tanktop in Lucky so much, I got an idea what they look like. She's super cute and has a great body and shows off more than enough for who she is. For a body like hers, I'd rather see her bare ass. But she's going to be in the next LOTR movie and for her success in that role, she might want to hold back to keep us wanting more. Not that i like it, but it might be the better career choice.
 
We already saw her bare ass in The Northman, not that it precludes us from wanting to see it again but I'd rather see her breasts now. Plus let's be honest her ass is completely flat.
 
So you continue to lie, have resorted to using Caps Lock and generally are either actually or pretending to be incredibly obtuse. Either way, I will be ignoring you going forward, as you have presented yourself to me and everyone else as a person arguing for the sake of it.
