Fanova's own page in its "
FAQ" says that any explicit content is prohibited, but it's ambiguous. I don't know how much that kind of ASMR clashes with that site's explicit content policies.
Also, Staryuuki mentioned even before starting ASMR that she wouldn't do ear licking/eating, which seems normal to me, if she doesn't want to, fine.
That's what my question was about, the reason I opened the thread: what's the point of that extra content if she can already generate it on the platforms she's already on. And someone answered with a solid argument,
she got an offer and took it. Perfect, opportunities are there to be taken, a person who thinks about their future (financial, personal, social, family, etc.) with a healthy mindset should always be willing to take it or not depending on what's convenient at that moment. This time a financial opportunity came up, but when you think about generating, in this particular case as a streamer, extra content for her community or for new people. Shouldn't that content be different from the usual? She does good ASMR, but the ASMR she uploaded to Fanova could perfectly well have been a YouTube video under the subscription on her channel. I mean, if she uploads an ASMR on Fanova, won't there be an ASMR that week for those subscribed on YouTube? Because if that ends up being the case, then a new subscription platform makes no sense to me, I understand there should be the same amount on both platforms, not this week on "platform x" and next week on this other "platform x" and so on over the months. For people already subscribed everywhere it would be an "unnecessary" expense everywhere, and people who never have could see it as silly, because if you watch her on Twitch or YouTube you have to watch ads, so it's more sensible to direct that spending there
There's also the argument of;
if someone wants to and can support, they can, yes exactly, to each their own. But the issue stems from the fact that there's already a well-established place where that takes place.
Which brings me to my question: at my job I try to make more money, as well as doing it outside of it on my own, but since the interest in making it possible came to me, it was always with the idea of contributing "more" in the case of my job, and doing something "new" in the case of doing it on my own, not just the same thing and that's it. I'm looking to hear opinions as objective as possible, without falling into fanaticism and confirmation bias from people who are die-hard fans of her community, so I'm looking for answers to my question here, leaving room for free expression, be it acidic, normal, well-founded, more in favor or more against, etc.
