Thanks for that, yeah I believe chroma subsampling is the reason why the images when from 100 MB to 17.9 MB
 
I tried to see if I spotted any difference, but if I zoom I see the same image. Sure, it's still almost 20 mb, but it's not 100! I've been using this method for all images. Machi, HaneAme, Byoru and others went from like 2 GB to 300 MB. TONS of space saved.
