Simp Chat Inde Navarrette - Discussion Thread

Everytime I see an image with her and her boyfriend, I just keep thinking about this one meme

Society: "Don't worry, short guys, there's plenty of short women for you!"

5 ft women: "He's gotta be at least 6 ft tall"

I got the wrath too 😆 Some people don't know how to take an L.

Lol when they do shit like that and then I click on their profile and get this, I automatically know they're a pussy.

Go easy on the little guy. Didn't you hear that Inde is now in the charge of the Society of Vertically Challenged Women and decreed they will not be unlocking thier chastity belts for us short kings?

Haha sure, but the game is the game. I myself am barely 5'8 so I'm not even speaking from a place of feigned understanding. Lol I KNOW the struggle. Work on yourself. Fuck with the girls that fuck with you, and you won't have to worry about a random 5ft celebrity dating a 6ft guy.

Yeah. Confidence and having a personality is the key. One of my best friends in college was barely 5'6 and got more girls then me, since he was one of the funniest and most extroverted guys in my friend group.

tl;dr pretty cameras is a fucking moron whose arguments are based on mistruths and don't really reflect the reality of the situation(s)

... you're gonna bother tryna figure out why... you don't think it has anything to do with the length of your comment, no?

Even gooner forums aren't safe from these toxic and drawn out debates about her career.

I just saw someone trying to puff out their chest, and decided to set them straight

TBF I am happy for her getting that moolah, be it in MCU or indie. Girl been looking for that big break for long enough, methinks, and she well damn deserves it.

The Blair Witch Project was by no means the first found footage horror film, but it was the first one made with any real skill, and it was the film that popularized the format and essentially set the standard for it. Earlier found footage efforts like Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment and UFO Abduction are not exactly horror classics.

Yes, Fatal Attraction paved the way for a bunch of terrible exploitation movies. Obsession probably will too. That doesn't make it a worthwhile classic by any means, unless you consider shit like Blood Feast and Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS to be classics as well. And no, Fatal Instinct absolutely did not invent the erotic thriller. Are you serious?

People remember The Exorcist because it was a brilliantly written, acted, and directed horror masterpiece with a lasting cultural impact. People remember The Evil Dead because it basically just got lucky and made a lot of money as a cheap and silly grindhouse B-movie.

Let's use another example: Everything Everywhere All At Once. That movie came out only four years ago and has already aged horribly, despite receiving massive amounts of hype and even a Best Picture Oscar win. Very few people today are even willing to admit that they ever liked that movie. Stephanie Hsu certainly did not become a massive Hollywood star because of it.

Truthfully, there are no massive Hollywood stars nowadays, other than the ones who have been around for decades. Hollywood culture has changed drastically since the era of streaming took off, and nobody watches movies because of movie stars anymore.

Will Inde Navarrette and Sydney Sweeney continue to have roles in movies and TV shows for years to come? Most likely. But that's not the same thing as being massive Hollywood icons who will remembered decades from now.

I do lmao

HGLs films had enormous impact upon the horror genre by virtue of being some of the first that visualized and used gore and splatter effects. Saying otherwise is just denying history.

Then again, the fact that you consider absolute 90s classics like Basic Instinct nothing more than terrible exploitation says enough about the level of pretentiousness you're on.

Agreed on EEAAO though, with the small caveat that the most talked about actors there were Michelle Yeoh and Ke Hyu Quan, who definitely had a career resurgence after that.

I thought Inde looked extremely sexy in the new Hot Ones Versus vid with her Obsession co-star. She’s genuinely one of the most beautiful babes in Hollywood today.

Noticed she uses a lot of the same mannerisms, stories, jokes and memes in each interview. Nothing wrong with that, but the interviews are all starting to blur together.

She reminds me a lot of Florence Pugh. Incredibly sexy while always having this quirky and adorable vibe to her.

There's only so many ways she can react to the same 30 questions always being thrown at her. At least her Hot Ones interview got new reactions from her.

she will be on saturday night live with gracie abrams on halloween
