what does rate limit mean? sometimes when I click on a thread it has an error page saying rate limit, but when I refresh the page it's fine
 
There are systems in place on the site to help with bots/scrapers. Navigating around the site too fast or opening too many tabs at once can inadvertently trigger these.

Like you said, if it happens just wait a couple of seconds and then refresh.
 
Most are not going to be whitelisted so pretty hard to discuss them.
Anyway, we're not in the business of advertising other sites, just discuss prompts etc.
 
Hi, just a question around getting simp badge. I'm at 50 some reaction right now with some content posted in requests pages. Have a vid that I'd like to post in a non requests model page, but looks like I don't have the badge yet. Do I have to wait longer?

I also saw the FAQ, it says around 30 min. And it has been more than 1 cycle of 30 minutes.
 
Its because the crons are disabled so there's nothing to process it.
I'm manually running a few of them daily, just done the user group one so now you have simp
 
Is there a way to block or hide Simp Chat so that its posts no longer appear while I’m browsing SimpCity? If there’s an account setting or filter for this, please let me know how to enable it.Thanks!
 
AFAIK They did not get nuked again (since the last time) and that it would be an increased limit if they were ever nuked again (not planned any time soon)

Adk what happened in both side(PC/phone) when I try to post a photo or video(esp goonbox) I use upload button not the insert, when I do the thing sometimes the photo is not in the forum and I don't want to make duplicate in the album thanks in advance
 
I somehow lost my Simp badge despite having met the requirements quite a while back. Could it be restored please?
 
You literally only post in discussion threads, you need to earn your badge by posting actual content in a content thread.
