I know people who struggle to make ends meet and can barely afford groceries, yet they don’t ask anyone for even a single dollar. The fact that she’s begging her followers for money after saying she spent a lot at Comic-Con buying who knows what really annoys me. I unfollowed her — I didn’t think she’d stoop that low.
 
I suspected she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but come on, she can't be THIS dense, can she?
Sure racism isn't helping her, but it's not only that, in Japan at that age and at her job she's considered basically a granny. So probably it's very hard for her to find any modeling job there nowadays
 
It's probably the opposite actually, she isn't getting any younger meanwhile younger and arguably more beautiful girls are getting on the spotlight so she has to resort to more racy stuff.
Now she's getting cut off from agencies and sponsors, her Japan residence is in jeopardy and she's spending more and more time in Italy trying to cling to whatever relevance she has left.
In my mind I see her trying so hard at anisong DJing as a (poor, imo) way to be the next Giorgio Vanni or Cristina D'Avena, living the rest of their lives milking whatever relevance they had 20-25 years ago. Except they were actually relevant, unlike Eleonora.
I have zero idea what the future will hold for her but I don't think it will be great. If she's not confident in whoring herself I think in the next 12-24 months she will have to resort to a minimum wage job since she has zero hard skills.
I'm actually kinda sad for her, when I was younger I was genuinely rooting for her but to beg for money after 15 years of bad financial decisions is something I can't stand. A lot of content creators try to get something from their fanbase, like publishing a gift list, but having the audacity to say "yeah the situation is dire, you can gift me something of you want but I prefer hard cash" is outrageous.
 
A quick tip: if her financial situation is truly that dire... then I recommend you be very careful on escort sites. I'm not kidding. I once found a girl I followed on social media, and I never expected her to do that, so keep your eyes peeled and watchful guys. If you ever find her, please post the link. Hahaha.
 
If you don't even have the money to go home, then it's seriously scary.
I've seen better communities that are more casually cohesive and with 0 responses to foreigners (himee.lily) than yuriko's.
And in any case, in Japan they reject you at a certain age, but that doesn't mean you don't work at all; there are older people who have managed to build something or in other case rebuilt a career because in past she was JAV actress or even a greavure idol like yuriko, and now for some reason play videogames (like shiooo1023).
It always come to my mind the slightly risqué live streams she did on LINE for 10+ years and I wonder if she actually managed to do something beyond the usual 3 historic collaborations she loves to publish and republish so much.
And from what I noticed that it was much easier to ask the presence in cosplay and not of Amemiya Luna and Alice Otsu for a convention in southern Italy than to wait for Yuriko cosplay +DJ set bullshit (10+ years i think?)
I guess the vtuber life is the only answer to the easy money situation as long as the bubble doesn't burst first tho.
 
I think her biggest issue is that her audience don't fw fat girls. She fostered a community around the cute foreign white girl gimmick. It's no coincidence that her situation gotten worse as how fatter she got. Everything she had was her good looks, she's not even interesting enough to captivate people on stream without showing her ass or tits (remember failed vtuber venture?). Stefanie Joosten is a good example, she's really cute and has a huge following in Asia without needing to whore herself out. Yuriko is a delusional spoiled brat.
 
She's simply accustomed to a lifestyle that she can no longer maintain, and now she wants to be manteined. When people here said "she has whales supporting her" I said it wasn't true because she had already said she didn't have enough money to save her father. You can't say "yeah i can't go back because i have spent all my money to this comicon", she want sugardaddies but without giving something in exchange
 
Did any of you guys see her on NHK World? She was hosting a TV show that I was watching, talking about the area and people where Golden Kamuy was set. I wonder how much she got from that
