I must admit to having watched some ropey reactions just on the side monitor from people like R Knights & Alex Hefner and both have sometimes disliked what they've just watched. You are right, it is rare across reactions in general but as Tandy says, they are tailored to the fans of the content. I only watch reactions to stuff I have already seen, or I have no interest in seeing ever. CinePals got stick because they didn't like the Wicked sequel, that might have swayed them away from actively disliking stuff.
 
Roxy Striar’s independent career as a movie critic tanked. Her views on TikTok and Instagram are also low. The only thing she has going is her body. Too bad she throws a fit whenever someone sexualizes her in the comments. It’s a shame that she still thinks her D-List movie career will kick off because she would be more loved on OF.

There are reaction channels that have real opinions out there, but I guess the most popular ones are those who please their audience idk

I like magy and laura for example, but they lowkey enjoy even the biggest pile of garbage. I still watch them because they're not annoying like other people:LUL
 
Reactions by they nature, self select at least good movies. No one in the comments is recommending bad or even boring 5/10 movies. Because no one cares about them. Only if a movie is outstandingly bad does it even get a recommend. Im curious what you think is an objectively bad movie people react too in a positive way?

If you want to watch people watch bad things and say they are bad. Red Letter Media is right there. Thier whole thing is watch bad or poorly made movies then talk about it and make jokes.
 
Honestly cant think of any specific ones, but a lot of the unnecessary sequels and reboots that are out there
 
Most reactors have patron/members who are voting on what they should watch next… so it does self select to what the audience thinks the reactors will enjoy based on previous reactions.

The only reactor who I believe is honest in all of their reactions is Jen Murray. She isn’t a thot milking us simps 😂
 
She will try and talk it up, but it is usually pretty easy to tell if Cassie from Popcorn in Bed didn't like a movie.
 
This is how I feel about Alanda Parker. She posts pretty infrequently, but she's one of few reactors I've seen who pays a lot of attention to what she's watching, and isn't afraid to tell you that she didn't like a movie without coming across as an ass. She doesn't do anything lewd tho, so not of much use on this site lmao
 
Verowak Reacts and Whimsory are two that really pay attention and have good analysis/reaction. They do absolutely nothing risque though :(
 
Whimsory will go so far as to watch a movie more than once to give a better analysis. I think Verowak has an engineering background, maybe civil? She is clearly very intelligent and does actually seem to watch and process the movies. More risque content from either of them would be nice, Verowak in particular.

Nikki Lu openly shits on movies if she doesn't like them. It's why she disabled the like/dislike button on her channel.

It's really not that hard to believe. There's even a reaction channel run by a woman who studied and works with movies who had a mental breakdown and took a several-month hiatus. In part, it was because she could no longer enjoy her passion for movies the way she used to, she could no longer see movies in theaters or talk about recent releases with her friends, since she had to save every first-time watch for her channel.
 
i think they do watch bad movies or dislike some but they only post movies that they liked because shitting on a movie will just anger some people in the audience. Nikki Lu is a fun reactor and even movies she doesnt really enjoy, she makes it a bit fun by shitting on it in a playful way like Starship Troopers
 
I can honestly say that I have no idea what happens in that movie or what X-Men related news that came out after, but I guess that's because I'm not really a fan of superhero movies.
 
Back when I was a kid in the early 90s, I reminded thinking "man I wish there were more superhero movies to watch". Now after see what Marvel and DC did for film making and the industry in general in last 25 years. I'm like "man I wish I can go back to the 90s".
 
Superheroes are the lowest form of entertainment, right in front of late night talk shows and 90% of reaction channels. I also agree that I personally wouldn't know what happens in a Spiderman movie but I KNOW these mfs know. You know these people go to the theater to watch that dogshit and you also know that they watch eachother. Those are their money makers.
 
A lot of reactors know and talk to each other. You can get an idea who is in what circle by their collaborations or participating in things like Cassie's Poppy Awards etc.
