Never got them when I wasn't subbed, still haven't gotten them since I started subbing. I get max 2-3 PPV DMs a week and the only other messages I get from her are when I initiate. *shrug*
 
This is something a OF manager discussed on Soft White Underbelly. The main goal of OF moneymaking is not to continue pushing the envelope regarding quality, but to get enough addicts hooked that they will keep buying the ssame recycled content time and time again.
 
Can someone give me some context on this? I stopped watching the yogs for a while around the time Hannah left, so while I'm aware it was acrimonious I'm not 100% aware of what happened
 
I've been around since the very early Yog days. Hannah was always abrasive, but it wasn't a big problem since it was just a toned down facet of her personality. She actually started in the yogscast as their first PR manager, answering fan mail and such. Over the years though she just changed, she became more combative and had a very "with me or against me" attitude. Idk if it was too much social media exposure, or just the way her brain wired itself while going through the Bob situation but her personality took a lean into those heavy traits. She straight up told Zoey to get over her anxiety, and there was the incident with her doxxing that kid. She simply was not PR savvy. She engaged with every criticism and fed the trolls. Even when there was controversy that did not involve her she inserted herself into it.
Basically over the years she just picked a lot of fights and burned a lot of goodwill with both fans and friends. It's a shame. I remember enjoying a lot of her content before.
 
She doxxed a kid? And who's bob?

Some kid was being a dickhead on twitter to a trans creator, the creator retweeted the post
Hannah saw it, then proceeded to tag the childs school's twitter account in a tweet, found his private socials along with his full name and email address along with his parents contact details and emailed them about their childs behaviour all while spam mentioning the school the kid goes to along with his name. The screenshots are still out there
This child was 11 at the time.
 
She did after the kid in question was incredibly toxic, finding out what his real name was and sending an account of what he did to his parents. It was a stupid reaction to being goaded relentlessly. She was wrong for doing it...but at the same time I didn't join the mob in fake sympathy for the little shit.
 
There's also the mental toll of living with Lewis and managing a business with him, it probably adds up over time :LULW:
 
And the only punishment she suffered for this was to eventually lose her career. Although she gets about as many views on twitch as Peter "I left my wife and infant child in China" Mann, aka Pedoguinn.
 
I think the main difference on why Hannah vs Pedguin on losing career is that Hannah eventually became insufferable even to her friends which caused it all to eventually blow up with that. Pedguin has been a massive troll and obvious did what you mentioned, but is at least smart enough to not burn the bridges with his friends and the network to ruin his own career.

He always seemed weird, glad I was right haha. I barely watch the yogs apart from Sips now, it seems like almost everyone else is annoying or has skeletons in the closet lol
 
Apart from Hat Films I generally watch anything Ose or Kirstie/Briony is part of on the main channel. I would add Bouphe to that list but she's in those vids infrequently. Any of those four are a great time, though.
 
I find that Ben and Tom have a genuinely enjoyable dynamic that is reminiscent of early Lewis and Simon. Hat films are incredibly flaky as regards content and often takes week or month long breaks from streaming for "reasons". When they do stream it is often way more enjoyable when Smaffy and Ross do so without Trott since three is a crowd and often just turns into a shouting match.
Sips is consistent and funny.
Pyrion is a boot licking grumpy boomer cunt who defends internet age verification because "some parents let their kids do what ever" and dismisses animals and people with PTSD being bothered by fireworks because "it is only a few days a year".
Personally can't stand Mara, Gee, Martyn, Duncan, Mousie and a few of the others, but Osie, Bouphe and Briony are great. It is a shame they can't consistently put out content.
I guess there are literal years worth of content from back in the day.
Maybe I'll rewatch some old Lewis and Ben Save the World.
 
Pretty much same with me.
I've not watched Yogs in at least 12 months now apart from Jingle Jam but even then, compared to the old days of watching every single night 8+ hours, I think at most I watched 2 maybe 3 hours in total this year... and majority of that was the set up stream hoping to see Nina build the tree haha.
-Sips, I think is universally seen as the breakout star from the good old days. Feel like everything he does is golden.
-Hat Films is hit or miss, their content is great but unlike Sips, they make it seem way to much like a job to record and play games. They are forever talking about scheduling/recording times/revenue etc... Feel like the joy is gone from them these days and the passion is long lost.
-Pyrion, 100% back your comments about him. At first discovery of him I thought it was just part of his act/gimmick but after further watching realising he's just that... Also the fact that he's gawd awful at games yet has a superiority complex... just can't bring myself to watch him at all.
-Duncan however I can stand, he's good when he's into a game, at least early/mid games he's great, he's never been good at late game material and he's the sole reason Yogs have the meme of "cheat always". But still for the most part Dunc is semi decent to watch in small doses.
-Tom is another like Sips where it doesn't matter what he's involved in, you know you will be entertained watching!
-Ben is hit or miss for me, he's a great co-host, but anything that relies solely on him falls short really quickly.
-Lewis has become insufferable over the years, I feel like its another case of ego getting to big... Always feels like he believes he's too good to do xyz and if he does lower himself to do xyz then you all better praise him for it.
-Simon seems to be checked out and knows it, whenever I last saw him get in front of the camera it was like he was struggling to put on a character for the show. I swear the best times we saw him was during the Chilluminati streams with Tom, Harry and Sjin... Simon generally seemed himself and all of them had a ton of fun with it.
Apart from say Bouphe, Osie, Lyds and the occasional Briony, the rest of the women of the Yogs are so hard to watch... but this is a site for simpin and not reading so apologies for anyone who read all that ranting haha!
