I think I am done with the yogs now that all their good content is locked behind a paywall. Will prolly scrape all the old Tomanben content from yt before they take it down.
 
It's certainly drawing a line under it all now for me. Tom and Ben was the last thing that was keeping me even faintly connected to the Yogscast. Not the same without the live chat interaction, the way they would get so derailed and out of pocket from one person's comment.

I guess I'll just keep coming here for yogs girls pink bits like a creepy old man and that's that.
 
The gamesnight channel has enough members for the format to work. They have made a concerted effort to provide more content for the members too so the move doesn't surprise me.

What does surprise me is that they don't seem to realise that the live aspect was a big draw.
 
Lyds just did housekeeping and removed the "free" subs from her vip page and stated "new pictures will be uploaded today, plus old content from my other page". Lets see what we get in roughly 4hrs when she actually posts
 
I have faith(?) they'll realise they need to change the format back to having a live chat component... but it's probably going to take another 6 months.
 
the way things are going in general, i think that chapter is closed. we should be happy with what we are getting and not expect more. i felt the same about the chiluminati. it was sad, but there was nothing to be done. at least we are getting something.
 
ye but the chilluminati wasnt just sjin. and they dont want viewers they want money. youtube views (ads) pay like shit so they focus on membership instead. they cater to what members want.
 
Ngl I might sub just so I can have a fully downloaded folder of her old stuff, I have scattered shit here and there but I'd pay for the ease of having it in one place
 
Yes but the remaining members are very obviously going to want to move away from a brand which is inextricably associated with an actual nonce

If you do, it'd be great to post it, as like that first set I think some stuff is screenshots rather than full quality.
 
It's nice to have some fresh Lydia to look at. I am high on hopium right now but some of the poses in this first set look promising.
 
I do have to wonder if locking content behind a paywall will have a negative impact in the long run. It must be harder to gain new fans and grow your audience when they have to pay to see your best content. Though I guess paywalls might be the only way for a video to make a decent amount of profit these days.
 
That wouldn't be too much of a problem if yogs were half decent at promoting themselves on social media but they are not.
 
Their audience hasn't grown in some time - they've switched into extracting revenue into an existing audience, which is what a huge chunk of online content makers have done now that ad revenue and viewer growth days are over.
