Support Why are my notifications are constantly empty?

Why are my notifications showing nothing even though I have a lot of watched threads? This start maybe a few days ago and has been empty since.

It happens all the time like this and eventually it comes back slowly like 4 notifications at a time.

In short the forum kept throwing up errors and so the notification system (and some other things) have been turned off to see if that improves stability.

I seen that about visiting threads but I don't get this whole stop and start thing with the notifications. Like I don't even need to visit the thread for the notification to come back.
