It's kind of a foregone conclusion that Blacked and Blackedraw are whack now compared to what they used to be.

1. Lansky's gone, and he had the devious mind to take the company to the top... No one can replicate that success and sensuality (at least looking at the current crop of directors).
2. They fired their best BBCs (Rob Piper, Flash Brown, Anton Harden). Don't quite blame them here because Piper and Flash Brown are criminals and Anton did get into some controversy, though I think the court of public opinion has changed on him.
3. they pick industry established talent and don't scout anyone new anymore, so the scenes are very boring and the girls just run through the motions...
4. It's a corporate product now. You just aren't going to get the passion you would get in 2014 and 2015 because there are like 15 people on every set... It takes away from the organic nature of the early scenes.

Those are just some of the factors at play. The real downfall is over-determined really.
