Hello,

Please use this thread to provide feedback for the new version of turbo.

Please note that this is a beta build and changes will occur at any given time and the site might go down. Changes that you make here on your account, uploads, etc. will be reflected on the live (turbo.cr) site.

This version includes:

- new(similar) polished design
- chunked uploads just like bunkr for faster uploads
- new album view
- new forum auth
- quick uploads within the user dashboard, and a lot under-the-hood changes that allow us to add new features faster.

i just used the forum login and it already had an account that is not mine logged in
 
Checking.

I've put it on maintenance while I debug this, never had this issue while I was testing bruh..
 
would love for the timer to show the length of the video before clicking play. so tired of clicking play on a bunch of videos to find out they are 7 seconds
 
Tricky because we dont save the video info on the database, so for all existing videos we would need to get all the info again, save it on the database, etc.

Could be added for new videos.
 
Can we plz change "Dashboard" to "My Library" and "Library" to "Frontpage" or somth 🦦

Also while I'm here, would there ever be a way to rename videos while still in the upload menu? I usually find myself having to go back to the dashboard just to rename them

Are there plans to add a favorites page? There's an option to save posts but I still don't see anywhere to access them.
 
Yes being coded atm. Same for liked videos that you dont really want to save as favorite.
 
Whats wrong with the current menu names?

As for the latter, could be easily added.
 
Nothing, just fucking around lol. I remember thinking "Library" meant like "My Library" when starting to upload onto Turbo.

Upload speed feels noticeably faster btw
 
New chunk uploads that upload up-to 4-parallel chunks of the same file at a time. Plus new upload/api server.
 
Tried uploading to the main site and could not get it to work for me for whatever reason. So I used the beta for the first time to bulk upload 5 videos to a folder at once and worked like a charm! No login or account issues, love the embed features, fast upload. Pawglover420 approved :KKomrade:
 
1. Double-clicking a filename to rename it navigates to the video in the current tab, or opens the video in two new tabs if “Open link in new tab” is enabled in the browser settings.

2. Not sure if it is intentional, but when an album is deleted without deleting the files, an em dash appears in place of the album name on the file's info panel.

Feature request:
Could we get an autoplay preview or tiled thumbnail preview when hovering over videos in an album?
 


I think this option should be moved to top instead of bottom. When i selected couple of videos, i was not able to find the options. after few moments i saw this at the bottom. either move or change its color or something so it catches the eye. we dark mode it was not easy to see.
 
I'm trying to log in using my forum account, but when I enter the password to confirm, it tells me that my SimpCity account password is incorrect.
 
In the Manage panel (top right), in addition to the Rename, Manage in dashboard, and Delete video buttons, can you add a Move to album... button?
