I also don't understand why he would get mad, whether he was in every lobby or just one. He is one of the few people in Chill's group that Chill will just play with outside of stream. Like, 100% guarantee: he'll see Chill in person before most people in those lobbies.
 
I get being very little upset ut that seems extreme like if chilled heard this I feel like he say its very extreme
 
Him and Ze are the few people in the friend group who can just ask Chilled to join a lobby and he would agree especially in his final week. For him to throw a diva fit about not being given red carpet treatment at Chilled's farewell when all he had to do was to show up on time and ask is incredibly petty and entitled
 
Platy used to be one of my favorite streamers but now all he plays is Dead by Deadlight, which is a game I do not care for one bit. And the whole situation with Kara, in which he is 100% completely in the wrong/fault for showing up late and or only choosing to participate so late, is complete bitch behavior. I've been subbed to him for over 5 years on Twitch, I think I should finally cancel that today.
 
I dont follow any of them, only know them because speedy started playing with them when among us came out, but if everyone is saying its weird for him to get so upset about the situation based on what kara said, maybe she isnt being 100% truthful/transparent with what actually happened? theres 2 sides to every story, and for someone who wont even be honest about her "roommate" idk I wouldnt put it past her to lie about something to try and make herself look better.
from what ive seen of her ruining speedys bits over the past like 6 years she comes off as someone that refuses to be shown as dumb, or wrong, even in the most trivial of situations and is constantly trying to correct people even when its an obvious joke because she feels the need to try and act superior than the hurr durr big dum streamers
 
as someone who's not a massive fan of hers I doubt it he stopped playing among us for months heck even playing games with the group
 
Then you haven't seen much. That definitely used to be the case but she mellowed out since she got snakes. Lying about the roommate situation? That's what Jordan wants, she has openly admitted to being in a relationship.
She has her faults, but one thing that is very important to her is she likes to take care of her friends. She makes sure everyone gets to play, avoids killing people who haven't had fun yet, sacrifices her own content. She wants to be seen as a good friend and she will bend over backwards for them. I don't want to play the trauma card, but yeah she has had some betrayal in the past and has rejection sensitivity.
Meanwhile, Platy is, well, Platy. Others have said it already.
 
I watched him, Tay, Kruz, Jeremy, and Larry try out some dumb Dead by Daylight ripoff not that long ago. The game was ass. Everyone knew it was ass. Kruz tries to give her honest first impression and Platy just snaps at her about how since they weren’t doing in game voice or whatever that they weren’t giving it a chance and she needs to not be hating the game so fast.
Dude’s just an asshole.
 
I'm not super surprised. Platy always felt kinda like an asshole to me... A funny asshole but an asshole nonetheless.
 
ya you notice it throughout the years with among us you notice when he plays DBD with her he scolds you over for like the little things
 
You just reminded me of something I forgot to mention. Later in the stream he had made up call outs for the map and would keep using them until someone was like “what the fuck are you even talking about”.
 
It is always possible there's information/context being omitted or fabricated.
It's not like Platy hasn't spoken on the issue. He has. That's how the "analysis" I was referring to in my previous reply came about. After Chilled's big send off happened, Platy posted some dramatic/passive aggressive tweets and we discussed what they were about, at some length.
You can go back and find the posts in question if you'd like (I apologize, I'm too lazy). This isn't meant to be a "Woohoo Kara is awesome! Go Kara!" kinda thing, because I think we've all criticized her a fair amount too, it's just that from what info we have and what we know about Platy, it doesn't seem like he has a leg to stand on to claim to be a victim in this whole thing -- especially when he shouldn't be making it about himself in the first place. It was supposed to be about celebrating Chilled's career, not accommodating him.
But like I said at the beginning of this reply, it's possible (likely even) that there are details that we don't (and likely never will) know, so feel free to form your own opinions and come to your own conclusions.
 
As someone who used to watch Kara and chills VOD's for Among Us before I went to sleep, Platty is a huge dickhead while he is entertaining he does sound like someone who is a "its all about me" type of person, literally walks around on stream with a unbuttoned shirt, thinking he's all fabulous.
 
Platy acts like an idiot but I don’t think he would confuse someone that legit said sure come to all the games and him showing up late to it, cucking himself, as that person betraying him. ATP, I think platy just always hated Kara and just used this situation as an excuse to cut her off. As we said, bro was in like all the chilled collabs leading up to this big among us send off so he has no reason to be that mad about it. I think he just saw that there’s a chance to cut off Kara and took it, especially with how Kara talked about how final he was with her like immediately after it. Bunches of streamers talk about how they have to suck up playing with people they hate and while this group is more “wholesome” than a lot of other twitch groups, it wouldnt surprise me if there were people that def secretly dislike each other
