Cosplay Asian Chinese Takomayuyi

Personally I don't think it makes much sense to repost every single Instagram/Twitter post of Tako here, cause everyone can already view them directly on her socials. Some people do that to farm Simpcity forum points on some popular threads I follow and that's just weird. I'd rather have a thread with less pages but easier to navigate and find the more "exclusive" stuff.

Just my opinion though, having more source for backups is still always welcomed.

I think for the sake of keeping this Simpcity thread less bloated, we should focus on finding and sharing Tako's content that is somewhat more exclusive and hard to find, like:

  • Content that is harder to access/download outside of China: her physical books, BiliBili exclusives, other gatekeeped media, etc.
  • Photos/videos taken in real events by photographers or fans
  • Promotional shoots that includes her, by brands she worked with
  • ...
Btw just a FYI: I have these downloaded and backed up at original quality, updated every single day if there's something new:

  • Her official IG (including expired IG Stories), Weibo (base tier), Twitter/X
  • 3rd party shares from Exhentai, Cosplayrule34
  • This Simpcity thread
so don't worry if some post on her socials disappear (I don't think I've ever seen that happened though). I'll very likely have those missing posts for reupload if needed.

Here's some photos and videos of Tako in cosplay events, taken by photographers or fans. Filenames should indicate the sources:

She had a Q&A on Bilibili. No clue what she's saying, but she looked cute.

Also, the Malenia figure is based.

Here's the same video but in better quality (1920x1080 > 852x480). BiliBili allows video quality up to 1080p if we're logged in. And up to 1080p60 or even 4K if we have paid membership (I think the site calls it "Big Member" or something).

If we provide cookies, some download tools will try to get the best possible quality.

I can download her entire BiliBili feed and share here (for backups if anyone wants to), but I don't have a membership so the best I can get is 1080p.

If anyone with an active BiliBili membership wanna try for 4K downloads, feel free to DM me. I can share how I scrape stuff.
