THE GOLDEN JASON SET
This set wasn’t supposed to have a second model.
But Sir Jason had other ideas.
For those who don’t know his story, Jason is a rescued cockatiel who was originally bred to be a prisoner’s bird (which is where he got his name, from the inmate). After spending the first years of his life in prison, he bounced between several households before eventually finding his way to me.
Yesterday, while I was shooting this classic pin up inspired set, Jason decided he would also be participating.
Not assisting.
Participating.
As anyone who has ever lived with a cockatiel already knows, they do not understand the concept of being a background character.
People often think of birds as decorative little creatures who sit quietly in cages.
Jason would like to personally clarify that this is fake news.
He spends his days flying around the house, supervising absolutely everything, demanding scratches, providing unsolicited commentary, and making himself at home wherever he pleases.

Purple Afternoon
A little backyard daydream.
I slipped into a second hand Bardot dress, tied a bow in my hair, poured an imaginary afternoon tea, and let the camera follow the rest. Underneath was one of my favourite Dita Von Teese lingerie sets, waiting to make its appearance as the dress came off.
