That's how it always works though, customs cost a lot of money because you're getting to direct the scene. Then depending on what was asked for, it may or may not be sellable to other people (like if it's too niche or specific or whatever), in which case they won't make any more money on it. And if it's good enough to sell to others, they'll sell it with their normal pricing model. No one is gonna buy a $200 video that they didn't direct.
