I think the same thing, that it was a move made solely to generate buzz, and she never brought it up again. I also posted the video where she says, "people will believe anything and would sell their mother for 5 minutes of fame." She seems to be referring to some former follower who came back offering money. I don’t think she still has the same follower base she used to have. Like people said above, she’s practically MIA, and she never replies to messages or interacts with anyone on any of her platforms.
