Some of my earlier days on aerial silks — and I won't lie, I was completely destroyed after every session.
Sore, worn out, but addicted to it anyway.
I am in so much better shape now than I was then.
But silks have their own kind of strength, nothing else compares.
By far the most physically demanding thing I have ever done, and I grew up doing real gymnastics. That tells you how hard it can be.
Maybe one day I find the time to get back to training and not just during performances .
Did you ever try something that completely humbled you?
