i think you must have misheard or misremember. it most likely refer to rainhoe donating to origiri as a prank to start the donation rush thing (where when it filled up giri has to either run around or dance until the timer runs out. any donation when it is happening will refill the timer. it ended up with giri dancing in front of a japanese restaurant for around 30 minutes with passer by giving her the dirty look.)

I know they've been dating for a while but when did she actually confirm it? I thought it was still an "if you know you know" situation, but she posted on X a few days ago sth like: "I like women now, sorry Sleepy" and I got curious.

I watched her pretty regularly, I wasn't parasocial and I didn't really care if she had a bf or not, but I was watching her for HER streams. After she moved in with sleepy, 90% of her streams were either with sleepy or talking about sleepy. I stopped watching her after a long streak of all the streams that I got to watch were with sleepy. Nothing against the guy but holy fuck he yaps so much and I feel like the whole dynamic of the stream is way different when he's there.
 
ye, she used to be pretty entertaining back in the day.

back then her identity was rainhoe the quirky weird vtuber with a smutty sense of humor.
now her entire identity is rainhoe the former pro player's girlfriend.

it's not just that she got a bf but her entire personality just changed. so was her friend circle. she used to hang out mostly with the vtuber circle and such so there was some interesting collabs. now she just hangs with sleepy's circle who are mostly competitive players or people working in that biz and tbh they're not very entertaining.

numbers wise she was taking a big hit too. she was ranging from 2k2-2k4 easily in early 2024 just playing minecraft and having no major events. and that was when she already moved to the USA to live with sleepy. now if she hit 1k it's a lucky day, she averages like 700 and on a bad day it drops to something like 500 or on worst day below 500. and that's not accounting for viewbotting. someone is view botting her and sometimes it seems like it made up for that last chunk of the 1k CCV since rainhoe is limiting viewer count because of the view botting. the other week her head mod took a day off and she forgot to turn on limiting viewer count and it sky rocketed to >3k just minutes after she started the stream.

also a little thing that seems quite concerning is her age. she just turned 22-23 this year so that makes her literally (no, I'm not exerragating this) 12 years old when she become connor's mod under a different alias. so if we fit the timeline and assuming RPR was hitting on her (before she rejected him and they had a fallout), rainhoe was around ~17 to maybe 18 when RPR was hitting on her and he was about ~26 at that time, while sleepy swoop in and scoop her up when she was freshly 18 to mid 18 when he was already retired at 25 after breaking up with his longtime gf who was with him before he even become a pro player. it's not much of an age gap but considering she's just coming of age it kinda raise and eye brow.

her community used to be super active with game nights , movie nights and just random activities in discord but like you said everything changed when she lived with sleepy her mods isn't helping the case as well they are all just lazy individual that doesn't do anything to make the community what it was before all they do is gate keep.
 
I don't really pay attention or interested with fan activity in d-cord so I'm not familiar with that. but I think most of the people who are still active in her fanbase is probably content with the state of her activity so you're probably not gonna have any luck for any of those community activity in that server.

also speaking of her d-cord server. the other day she was asking for gifts at her virtual M&G and one of her Whales reply complaining that he gave her a necklace and never saw her wear it in any of her IRL stream. from the replies it seems like she was pretty creeped out because the guy sent a very personal letter along with the necklace but she tried to play it cool and said she was keeping it in her jewelry box and offer to return the necklace to him with the excuse of "it was too important and personal to him", the dude of course refused.

I'm kind of a dramafrog so sometimes when I'm bored I tend to dig around. it's kind of an entertainment for me (don't judge :KEKWlaugh: ).

The guy seems to be one of her long time whale and it's not the first time he creeps her out either :KEKWlaugh: i think a couple weeks ago he donates a big chunk for her to buy my little pony cards or something and was sperging on twitter about her getting the cards thanks to him, which kinda creeps her out a bit. from what I dig up he's been a long time prominent fan in her community, doing car wrappings and car mats with her images and shit like that. so it's not like some rando just randomly appear from out of nowhere, which makes it extra funny :KEKWlaugh:

I don't know if her community changed after she moved in with sleepy. I think it's not that the community changed. it's that because of how her content changed, most of the people just.... dropped her I guess? So whatever's left in that community is her hardcore fans who would stick with whatever stunt she's doing now. that explains why it feels gate-keepy to you because from what I've seen there's like only 20-30 people active in that server and most are her mods or her regulars.

I think it's not the first time her community become a small clique and was gatekeepy to newcomers either. IIRC early in her career a couple years ago when she has less reign over her community, it became so bad that she has to made an announcement in that server and ended up firing a bunch of mods and banning a bunch of people. But i don't know the specifics of what happened.
