Or 3, she suffers from mental illness and desperately tries to find an outlet in life that gives her a sense of higher purpose. That's found from within though, not from external circumstances. She's just not aware of that yet.
 
Based on What your mention, That is not Mental illness, It is Called Existential vacuum (Viktor Frankl's term) — the sense of emptiness when the "will to meaning" goes unmet. It is normal human condition, not pathology
 
I can’t believe I’m being the “haram” police. So someone educate me and on culinary. I’m pretty sure Bandeja Paisa has a lot of pork in it. Which I’m not complaining cos hopefully it means she comes back to making content sooner than later lol
 
Also you have to remember, she is Japanese. Culturally, alot of their food is pork based. (Tonkotsu, etc,,,)
I wouldn't be surprised its just a phase. Maybe she is a casual muslim, for all you know. Some of the world also have casual practitioners of faith anyways.
