Unironically, I looked into it because I didn't get it either. It's absurd self-deprecating humor typical of young zoomers that scroll tiktok. You might not get it because you're old and remember when youtube had a 10 minute limit. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to rewatch prime examples of humor: Red vs. Blue and Potter Puppet Pals.

Those stupid whores are so fucking cringeworthy and pathetic it's laughable how ANYONE can get it up from their stupid performative, desperate, over the top horny larping. Jesus Christ.

God yes. I dated one in the 90s. That was what was so sexy about them. Also, how they dressed but that was a bonus.

Modern viral internet culture will take everything remotely interesting or fresh, turn it into the most flanderized, shallow, hollow husk version of itself and will overdo it to the point even it's biggest fans will get turned off and start to hate it.

Omg this I hate the co-opting of the word goth to mean a girl that wears black and dresses as some sort of bastardisation of mid to late 2000s emo/scene which in itself was never seen as goth.
Also not sure why goth is somehow synonymous with whore these days too. Even the "goth" girls who don't do OF or spicy content dress like they're ready for a night working on their back
 
After seeing her sense of humor in old streams I actually appreciate the goth act. Its self aware/ironic and yeah, cringe, but to me what she's doing is far more of a campy Elvira act than trying to even remotely represent goth.
Goths, as it is though, can take themselves very seriously so when I see anyone rage at them not being real goth I cant help but laugh. Settle down.
The AI goths all over every reels-based app though? Thats a bigger problem. Most of those "goths" are for some reason playing tennis or working in an ER. Somebody reading this knows what I'm talking about.
