Personally, I think it's a mixture of Fantia's locked per month subscription (even if it does open up previously subbed months) and the tremendous amount of censoring. Not worth the 5000¥ conversion for many
 
A few years back Fantia and other JP sites would let me use my country's e-wallet service to pay, which was convenient af but they dropped that feature afterwards. Now I have to go the roundabout way of buying Bitcash and using that for Fantia currency.
Also yeah given that you will confirm get what you pay for instead of having to go through PPV stuff, and that her content is pretty high quality, I'm not saying it's overpriced or anything. Just way out of my budget to consistently get. I used to sub to a cosplayer's OF everytime she'd have a sale, dropping it from 15USD to 3USD, then use a scraper and download every non-PPV she'd post up til that point. Were it so easy for this lady.
