I am genuinely curious how they manage to make everyone look so ugly every time. Like, even with actual amateur porn, the videos sometimes look decent but PrivateSociety is just so consistently disgusting it's impressive. Even when they have actresses that do decent work elsewhere they come onto PS and look like bloated or gaunt zombies. Is it the harsh lighting? Do they forcibly hose all makeup off the actors before the shoot?
 
The lighting isn't helping, and neither is the fact that the models have to work at a truck stop in rural Ohio for a month before the shoot and do meth while they're there.
 
The lighting, no attempt to colour correct the footage are the two main factors.
 
The makeup (or therefore, the lack of) is another factor to consider. For example, in her Tatiana videos, Vienna Black looks like she been living in a crackhouse for a month, but it's more similar in looks to what she had on her OF rather that the other mainstream work.
 
Of course, that’s a factor—most mainstream sites have professional makeup artists. I actually prefer the “natural look,” but PS goes way too far in the other direction, plus the quality of the models has just declined since 2010—that’s the harsh truth.
 
I do wonder if them being dressed for the most part in dowdy clothing, the crack house whore makeup and the terrible lighting and borderline Amityville setting in the mansion is the intended outcome.
I may me wrong but I'm sure Freya Von Doom mentioned someowhere that PS is based in one of the flyover states Ohio maybe so it could be a case of just not having the money or willing whores wanting to travel that far for a few scenes.
 
I disagree that the quality of talent has been in decline. Because counting a few exceptions, the models always has been shit in PS. That's the appeal.
