The AI fake stuff is, on one hand, private and harmless and morally pretty similar to personal fantasizing. And fantasizing about platonic friends/acquaintances is more common than most girls realize. Aaaand at the same time, it’s understandably very disturbing to find out someone is doing that with your likeness. I get why she’d be so creeped out. (Which does call the harmlessness point into question; if there is a chance the person finds out and is disturbed, it’s not so harmless)

But to bring it up publicly now is probably for more petty reasons.

As a side note, man the brief glory days of free AI nsfw image/video edits were so good…

According to her Twitter post, she "spent hundreds of thousands of dollars" trying to get AI/fake content removed. That is the kind of statement that should come with receipts. It is especially interesting when other creators like Riley Reid are making full on AI versions of themselves instead. If Poki feels so strongly about it, why isn't combating fakes her main occupation instead of shopping in China? It really comes across as performative nonsense.

We are 100% in the beginning stages of the Pokimane Vs QTCinderella war and Atrioc is being used as a weapon. Poki is only bringing up Atrioc in the public to shame QT and Ludwig. If Poki is truly struggling with him not being cancelled by his day 1 homie and QT, Poki would've handled this privately. Did she ask beforehand if Atrioc was gonna attend and that's why she decided to not go?
How Did We Get Here?: Did something happen behind the scenes we don't know? Did Poki seeing QT having the streamer girl group go to her wedding upset her? Is Poki truly a mean girl who hates seeing QT get all the attention?
The China Trip: I can see both sides of the coin on how this affected her attending the wedding. Did she not want to cancel her long planned trip to China to attend one of her friends wedding? Her boyfriend not being able to go with her to China seems like even more of a reason to not go to China. Why wouldn't she want to go to a friend's wedding with her boyfriend? A cool rare opportunity.
 
The cynical person in me wants to think that all of these people collude behind the scenes to manufacture drama. Whoever comes out as the bad guy or good guy doesn't matter since they all get a boost from it. It feels very scripted in nearly the same way WWE or reality tv is. Every time there is any kinda of drama between e-celebs, it never feels authentic probably because it isnt.
 
You’re getting hit by the buggy effect. It’s when you expect someone so stupid ton make a rational decision so you read deeper and give their words more meaning than they have. At this point she’s just the richest person from benefiting from the early stages of the simp culture we have today. What with being the female face of twitch and DEI being at its all time high when she was negotiating a contract for exclusivity. Plus Fuslie invested in nvidia so it’s not that far of a stretch that she put poki onto game. She just speaks from a pedestal created by her lucky circumstances. In reality she’s no different than Elon musk but at least he’s backing inventions, she’s just going to fashion shows in Paris.
