Might be because they don’t see themselves as in the industry in a traditional sense. They often create and produce their own content, and self manage and they don’t work with studios and do a ton of formal contracts with big production teams and directors?

I suppose it’s a bit of semantics but there are some distinctions.

Same reason "porn stars" don't like to be called whores even though they are. They're labels created to make it psychologically easier for women to get into selling themselves without felling like what they actually are.
 
I think I recall one pornstar saying she found it disrespectful that anyone with a camera can be a pornstar and that there’s more to it that’s that.

I was recently banned from her profile for merely asking if she had any content which included a preview thumbnail. Anybody else ever encounter something like this? It’s a huge bummer.
 
That’s weird. She’s given me previews before. Rachel cook and lilah_lovesyou have blocked me in the past for asking for previews or discounts
 
She's also blocked me for refunding content. I told her I never have and even hit up support,

"A creator is accusing me of having refunded their content. Can you tell me if I have had ANY refunds with Paigeinsco"

To which support said,

"Thanks for reaching out. We have not detected any refunded transactions to the corresponding user."

She didn't care and blocked me. Her chatter is just fucking weird.
 
I have a few videos I can share but can’t download them from her page. Anyone wanna walk me through how to download them to my iPhone? Aloha browser works for most other creators but I guess she had extra security on her vids.
 
The only thing that has ever worked for me is the software ytSaver. If you download it you get 2-3 drm video downloads for free but afterwards you have to buy a license. When you go to uninstall the software it will give you a decent 25% discount code.
