Same :PepeWhy: Anyone able to download DRM videos right now? If so what are you using?
 
I think the remote service these tools use for decrypting drm protected videos is down
 
For the first time in awhile, I can report that I have an issue with DRM videos using OFDL. I don't have time to look further into it.

But, my backup method has been Flixpal. That still works like a charm. I simply don't like it as much but I used it and it works the same as it always has.
 
Are you using any VPN client? If so which one? This usually happens to me when I'm using Proton VPN.
 
how did you do this please? Btw i also copied and pasted the CDM keys from where in this list but all of a sudden its not working anymore.

Still on the lookout for something that's more streamlined than ofdl. mostly out of laziness :KEKWlaugh:
 
Good luck with your search. When I paid for Flixpal, it was only $150 for the lifetime fee and it works for a lot more than just OF. I simply found OFDL to be easier to use for OF. But Flixpal will do until something else comes along.
 
Why use flixpal when OFDL was just working new even two weeks ago or so? I still haven’t fixed mine sadly.
 
I think because flixpal will work on some of the streaming services as well.
 
Today, OFDL stopped working properly for me. It'll add folders to my laptop but it's not downloading the videos. The folders are empty. I've had Flixpal for quite a while. I use it for other things but it works for OF too.
 
Something definitly did change, with DRM protected posts/videos... Tried downloading one from a recent post that I had not downloaded/viewed, previously, and it failed (also showed 1byte as the size... ) ... it did manage to get ones from (old) DMs, though, somehow...
 
same here, got keys, everything normal, it's says that messages are scraped and nothing in folders
 
Is another rules.json update necessary to fix the current DRM issue that just started today?
 
No. The rules.json file is fine. The issue is that OF changed the host that serves DRM content. This broke OF-DL and will need a new release to address it.
 
Ok. You are correct. I took a look at a current request and they switched the host from cdn3 to cdn2. If you want to do it properly then a rebuild is necessary since the values are hard coded (probably should be added to a config in a future version to avoid issues like this). I am too lazy for that so just patching the executables directly works.
