They might be. Michi also being from Indonesia might play into it too as homosexuality is taboo over there. Publicly announcing you're in a gay long distant relationship might not be the best move. :peepoShrug:
 
But she has literally talked at length about how everyone over there knows she's gay and they all treat her like the exception to the rule.
 
Not so much her friends and family over there but more so the parasocial indo fans that might go rabid. People can be very sensitive about their culture and the rules. I think the last thing they want is indo fans attacking her similar what happened to Bao and her viet fans did a few years back.
