im being somewhat facetious but she's seemingly more someone who cosplays or attaches something based on the visual aesthetic rather than what most people would say is substantive. she's not the only one who does this at all and fwiw it's fine. but like what did it for me is the twitter ingrid video because i know that girl don't know nothing about street fighter, i would eat my shoe if she knew anything about it really. but ingrid just got completely overhauled as a character in sf6 (she had appeared in two spinoffs beforehand and that was the extent of her character) so it don't even really matter. she's pretty obviously more pinterest core mixed with some nerdy interests. but there are worse culprits for sure.
 
Cosplaying is part of her career so I wouldn't expect her to be some hardcore fan of everything she cosplays, but I'd argue she's less of a larper than a solid chunk of her "colleagues".
 
Almost all cosplayers are larpers. They either do it because it is either currently trending or they are sponsored by the devs to promote the game

I think it's mostly about accessibility. You don't have to go through a studio, producer, etc to get your shit out there. You also then don't have the large budget and massive reach of a studio so there's the illusion of obscurity.
Its the same reason people post intimate details of their lives online; they feel like they're a drop in the bucket (they are) so posting this stuff to community doesn't feel as public. Parasocial relationships go both ways.
Where older generations had to discreetly organise swinger parties and go to clubs and nudist beaches, the younger generations can just post on FetLife and create an onlyfans account.
 
Don’t think she always actually plays + watches the media from *everything* she cosplays. She cosplays characters that she thinks are cute and there isn’t anything wrong with that, lot’s of cosplayers do that. She has been cosplaying for a long time even before her OF debut.
I think the only thing wrong about her “larping” is that she likes to take a lot of credit for her cosplays, tons of people praise her for how “talented” and “crafty” she is, when in reality she makes almost none of her costumes and never courtesy tags the people who do make them, all she has to do is buy these expensive cosplays and put them on.. Not much talent and effort there other than her making TikToks.
 
this too. i refrain from making any judgement calls about it because it genuinely literally doesn't matter. the underlying thread beneath it all is that these women are hot anyway. it's not like i actually care about how much a given person is or isn't into the media when my only experience of them is pixels on a screen. it's all in good fun.

first of all we speak from experience. when you stop paying for the OF these girls WILL do porn, i have seen this billions of times already and it genuinely a rule of nature because you force these models to step up their game.
and secondly, no. they are not set up for life, because their agency takes half the money and the rest that goes to the OF model is blowing the money up for party, drugs, tattoos, buying first class ticket every week to go to the beach. Your logic might apply to low earner OF girls that were gonna do porn anyway, but popular girls rarely, if ever, go for it.
