Nico is just an incredibly introverted nerd who happens to cosplay. There are mere seconds of footage where it seems like she’s actually enjoying making content. She knows she’s conventionally attractive and OF can fulfil the social validation by paywalling content so only people who already like her can see and engage. She’s minmaxxing her life, she enjoys making the cosplays and showing them off, puts as little effort into the content itself and gets paid presumably a healthy amount. That type of mindset is rewarded, so there is no incentive to do anything else, and there likely never will be. Sure, her management is shitty and exploitive, but you can’t really hate the player but you can certainly hate the game. I think that’s exactly why everyone on this site is here, because we hate the shitty practices management employs.
