Now that it's been moved we have two threads in the same category with ostensibly the same titles and prefixes but for entirely purposes :

Let's not kid ourselves here, the average Simp City user isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box, so that's inevitably going to lead to confusion of what goes where. Which is part of why we ended up having to split them in the first place.

Come to think of it, we should probably clean house on Saru's threads whilst we're here ->

Are all redundant, abandoned and covered by the two above threads.
 
The fansly and ASMR are redundant in terms of content, and yeah the discussion thread can be used for any further requests. The patreon does have her art, I guess we would want to merge it with the "Saruei vtuber" thread?

That way there's no confusion. We don't end up with idiots (re)posting her cosplay pics in the animation thread or flooding the Twitch thread with animations, because they couldn't tell them apart. Which then wont need to be reported or cleaned up (y)
 
I've said this before, I think this is just step 1 in the process. Now we need to get people to stop calling everything a vtuber posts on fansly a "ASMR Yap N Fap" stream

I'm totally joking, I know why they're called that, the reasoning makes sense, I just don't like it cause when i search for ASMR content I get too many Yap N Fap streams :KEKWlaugh:

Now that we've settled in to the new Category a bit, can we get a consensus or ruling on whether fanart/skebs should be allowed in it?

For context, I mean NSFW artworks, 2D or 3D, that were created by fans or an external artist but not paywalled on the model in question's official Patreon, SubscribeStar, Fansly etc etc. Generally these are found in a models NSFW # on Twitter.
Examples : (Example 1, Example 2 (same thread, same user), Example 3 (middle one of those is GenAI to boot).

I'm of the opinion that the threads in this category should be for stuff explicitly put out by the Model on her official channels. And fanart, NSFW or otherwise, should be consolidated to the Animated category.

Occasionally models will put out commissioned artwork of themselves paywalled on a premium site, which would be fine to post imo, but this is usually signed or watermarked so you can tell it apart.

I'm not saying there isn't value in reposting NSFW fanart for posterity (sometimes booru sites miss stuff). But by allowing it in the category not designed for it, we're just opening the door to flood threads with them. We actually already had this problem in the past with the Saruei thread and that's why we split it from the Animated one.

I want to hear other opinions on it though. So, thoughts?
 
I'm of the opinion that if something is behind a paywall, whether text still mad about that Bao shit over a year later or art, or videos, or audio, it belongs in a model's thread.

To play devils advocate, what about when a Vtuber is an artist themselves (fairly common) and they post something that is more than lewd enough to go behind a paywall, but for whatever reason they kept it in in public? example https://xcancel.com/saruei/status/2015587984570003564

Much as i'd like to post this and a few of her other horny-on-main images, I think that anything non-paywalled, even if its by the vtuber themselves belongs in the animated category. If we let non-tagged art in, even if it's posted with a source link, i think the amount of effort to stop well meaning but wrong users isn't worth it (meaning mostly reports to mods)

Or did we want to keep her thread in the Premium site section on purpose? I searched this thread for her name all the ways i could think of and i dont think we talked about her

Her twitch thread got moved to this forum, but her OF thread didnt. We do have other vtubers premium threads in here (first one i saw https://simpcityopen.com/threads/27684/).
 
I'm of the opinion we should just leave it in there tbh. Threads in Premium are condition to different rules and it's frankly miraculous that there's a thread in Premium like Cotton's that has no Social Media content and [not that much] reposting in it lol.

If we moved it into VTuber then we'd have to merge it with her Social thread already in there (https://simpcityopen.com/threads/122435/) and it'd just get messy very quickly.
