Something everyone always fails to bring up whenever this topic is discussed because they're too busy "owning the magas" is its probably just trans people who are spending more time indoors watching porn, scared to go outside. Trans/queer people consume enormous amounts of porn and could easily skew the results. And it's not like there's any less trans people in those states, unless you believe being trans is a choice

You think trans people are numerous enough in Conservative states to skew the results of porn searches by cis people enough so trans porn is the #1 searched type of porn in some of those states? Despite trans people being a small minority of the US & more than likely most of them living in more progressive states that allow them to live as they want? Are you fucking stupid? The math doesn't shake out there whatsoever. It requires you to think that trans people are a bigger part of the population than they are. They're a minority for a reason.

Also, reducing all trans people to shut-ins only watching porn is just...so reductive to any good faith conversation & offensive that anyone who reads you unironically saying shit like this should automatically disregard anything you say afterwards. A good amount of trans people go outside, have social lives, have jobs, go shopping, travel, go for walks, etc. Yes, some are gooners like the rest of us, but not enough to skew results that hard.
 
"#1 category of porn" is a very misleading label. If you look at search terms "transgender" "trans" "tgirl" or anything like that, none of them come up at all in the top search terms pornhub released despite "transgender" apparently being the #2 category in the whole US.

It would seem the majority of people aren't using categories and just search stuff, so yeah of that minority who do use categories I do think trans people can skew it from #2 to #1 by being more shut in within conservative states compared to others.

Obviously not all trans people are gooners but I'm very comfortable saying they are to a much greater degree than normal people. And again going from #2 to #1 doesn't require a whole lot

And that's not to mention the trans people being an even greater percentage of total view time since studies show Christians view porn slightly less than others
 
Alternatively, so much for shut-in gooner trans people skewing the results.
