Eh. Not that I think she's necessarily lying but I doubt that there's a huge difference in that regard. It's not like she was fat before, far from it. Sounds more like a convenient justification, since admitting that having a slimmer body with less curves makes it easier to sell her image as a popstar with a broader appeal is obviously not an option
