I don't see how you can say some of these recent girls look too young and then name Violet Starr as an example of someone who didn't. But I agree with your last point big time and think that could be more of a "creep factor" than the age gap or young appearance by itself. Someone like Abella or Ivy Wolfe you got the impression they were really into him enough that maybe they stuck around and fucked again after filming was over. Now the impression is more like "gone 15 minutes after the camera is off and texting their friends about the goofy shit he said during the scene."
Awhile back I said it's starting to look like a lot of these girls got scouted from a trailer park or an Arby's in Bakersfield.

Like someone else said you can see it with the scene lengths too. You could usually count on getting at least 40-45 minutes baseline. The recent Xxlayna Marie and Alana vids were 25-28 minutes.

You guys hit the nail in the head. The real issue is about the girls not being into him anymore, which leads to scenes being generic and mostly boring (unless it's with some real nymphos like Smeraldi or Gypsy).
Ferrara used to be the go to guy to watch hot women get fucked to the point of getting dick drunk and leaving the viewer thinking there was some legit chemistry beyond a porn scene.
I think it's only natural that Manuel's time is up as that kind of performer. The thing that bums me out is that none of these new guys seem to have the sort of content Ferrara used to have.
