Would using AI to recreate the image (basically creating a new one) with img2img or something similar erase the code?
 
would the simplest solution be two people who bought the sets share with each other then overlay them and see which pixels are different?
 
You could hash your files and request the other buyer to hash their files and compare the hashes.
