Does anyone else feel like a lot of Layna's recent issues have come from being an obviously middle aged woman, whos been trying to be part of a load of early 20s friends groups? She would forever talk about how the new streamers she was hanging out with were her new perfect friend group, until they weren't. Because being middle aged is very different from being freshly out of your teens. This collab with Ray and his wife might have helped her see that. I hope she will be a lot better after, making better choices in the friend groups.
 
Eh I wouldnt consider her middle aged. But theres definitely a generation gap that may be making it harder to relate to younger friends. It would certainly be nice to see her find a friend who's as into horror as she is :pepoLove:

Saruei is in her age range and is also a horror fan, though not on the same level as Layna. They've been pretty close lately and recommending games to each other
 
For sure, but remember she's half way to 70, that's definitely at least early middle age. You'll also see some of the cosplay type things she does and cringe, because she's clearly too old for them.
 
Meh, not really Drama, It always felt like she was the classic Millennial who had never grown up, and still acted like she was 21. She would buy expensive jewellery for Filian and announce it on stream, She would tell people she streamed with how much she had sought out a friend group and they were it, but she was always so much older than them and they didnt do any more collabs after that. It's good to see her working with people who are the same age and in the same position as her.
