I completely understand your positions, but unfortunately the industry is at the epicenter of woke and cancel culture. Pornstars themselves seek to cancel others simply because they have a different political viewpoint and there are directors who think the same.
 
Correct. It's terribly ironic how far the industry has strayed in this regard. It used to fight for freedom of speech and expression. Not looking to get into a political discussion, but I say this as a classical liberal.
 
Except there's a difference when it's somebody being politically incorrect and when somebody is a combination of
1. Problematic, allegedly on a criminal level.
2. Being mentally unwell and not properly treating it (neglecting meds)
3. Being quite unhinged.
I highly doubt it's a matter of pc this, woke that, but her being a person that the industry at large avoids for understandable reasons, granted that even half of everything in this thread is true.

I don't remember her exact words or which social media platform she said it on, but I do remember her talking about it. Who knows if it's true or not and I agree with you that there's no official confirmation.
 
You read this and it's too much shit and as I said before she probably doesn't even remember half of the shit she said or did, what condemns her is that she never showed remorse, not even a simple sorry.

Regardless if she remembers or not, if even half of all that stuff is true, then my point still stands that this isn't a woke thing, but a situation where it is very understandable that the industry (except for Jules Jordan) wants nothing to do with her.

Groomed her into the industry, her(layla) and dakota.

I forgot to add that part, which is by far the biggest thing about her that makes the situation (Layla Jenner being undesirable for the studios to work with) be way bigger and go far beyond "woke" and being politically (in)correct. Again, this is speculation, I am not saying that she is guilty of this or any of the other things in my previous comment.
 
man i cant wait til the day people get tired of spamming the woke and cancel culture catch phrases all the time. So many people use this as cover to just be rude and disrespectful when before that was actually looked down upon. Theres always going to be people that overreact, but its also not overreacting in an industry filled with a diversity of sexual and personal preferences to call out people that support demonizing those choices. If someone is saying things that personally offend people that they are trying to work with, its common sense not to expect those people to hire them when there are plenty of other people they could. Especially since nowadays many "political viewpoints" are mainly moral viewpoints and standards, and why should you work with someone if you disagree strongly with them morally? Especially since having sex with someone is a whole lot different than working in an office cubicle next to someone.
I like Layla, shes really hot, but she needs to get her shit together because the window for hot new pornstars is very small, and she has no one else to blame but herself if she is killing her career.
 
A combination of all these things are a factor. The overarching woke/cancel culture element is a component, just as her being mentally unstable and other potential issues are at play.
At the end of the day, no matter how cute a young woman is, if she's a liability for studios, there's always another eager to replace her.
 
I'd like to add something else to this discussion: Do you think her return is viable? Is she interested in coming back?
I personally don't think she's interested in coming back, and I'll put it this way: some of these girls have found an easier way to make money, and much more money, than spending all day, all week shooting on a set.
BTW: I take my hat off to her former agency; they did a fantastic job selling her as the new sensation of the industry.
 
It is valid to ask if she actually is interested on coming back, though she did try again with the Jules Jordan scene last year. Maybe she just didn't feel like it afterwards, but the timing with everything else she has (allegedly) said or done can't be ignored.
 
Totally agree on the fact that escorting pays more and is easier for this girls who are maybe a little lazier. I think ultimately these girls want to latch onto a sugar daddy arrangement for as long as possible too, i think some of the girls that kind of disappear for a while went that route, like Clara Trinity, phoebe kalib, alexia anders, etc. Then there are the hard working hustlers like Linda Lan that are doing all of that to make as much money as quickly as possible.
I think Layla is still in the window where she is still hot enough where she can find rich dudes to take care of her even with her bullshit, but that window closes real quick, and real quickly she could be bouncing from bed to bed just to find a place to stay.
