Keep in mind she grew up very sheltered with a warped view of the world (one of the first to leave Westboro Baptist Chrurch) and then got into what seems like a very controlling relationship with her ex-husband. So post divorce you have a 39 year old single mom who's for the first time going to have full freedom, she's going to make some immature choices because well, she never GOT to make those earlier in life.
