This is the place to talk about Korean female cosplayer. Any korean female cosplayer related is welcome here.
 
I think Yasal appeals to the western audiences a bit harder, mainly because she speaks pretty fluent English and will happily do memes.
 
Tbh not really. She always does that to Korean audience. The one who makes her well-known to western is this Chinese dude that keep posting meme video about her. Way before that Alegria dude exist, she doesn't have much of western fans
She have been studying English way before she went into cosplay modelling. When she is at China, she only speaks English because her Chinese fan speaks English well.
Though there are shit and stupid drama when Siru, Nari and Yasal coming to event at China
 
This is just small controversy
There is one time where it was during Yasal and Nari wearing Ahri's cosplay and most chinese fans are calling them as a prostitute. It is huge the point the chinese raided Yasal's agency discord, posting XJP picture or meme or spam unsettling sentence
 
JooA speaks English as well, just not as often. I got to see her and Berry at a convention last year. I dream to meet Yasal though. I would die.
 
Yeah but most of the time she don't use it at all. The last time she went to Malaysia event, she had translator rather than trying to talk in English
 
I read rumors that a group of Chinese cosplayers were jealous of Yasal getting so much attention from the audience on the first day that they reported her to the convention organizers. They accused her of wearing an inappropriate costume and making suggestive gestures.

btw, i noticed that even top korean model like Min Hanna or Song Joo A seem not popular in our simp 4rum, topic with 2-3 years old but only 3 "content" pages
 
Yasal have to do fanservice a lot because Chinese fanbase is crazy as fuck. So if she doesn't comply with fanservice, retarded chinese fans will flame her agency with disturbing retarded images and her agency doesn't want to lose fanbase from china because organizers pay her agency a lot
Jooa is pretty chill tbh, and much more chill if she speak in her languange. 100% she will always speak Korean and rarely speak English.
Minhanna is domestically popular. She is not well-known because her fanbase is all Korean. so your "top model" title here is just domestic uses. not internationally
 
So apparently there were different incidents.
The prostitute thing came from a LoL event in China. Fans were freaking out over Yasal being too intimate (massage, feeding, footbath...?) with some blogger.

There is also Bilibili World (also China) where other cosplayers reported Yasal for being too lewd. But as you can see in the video, she's not any more lewd than the others. They next day she was there as staff instead but was still getting reported.

The Chinese folks zeroed in on a ringleader who initiated the reporting thing (not gonna doxx her since I can't verify the story). Supposedly the snitch sold lewd stuff on the side herself🤷
 
Kinda wild because Yasal looks to be the most animated and happy to be there. The other 5 look almost stiff as boards.
 
The right side of Yasal is Berry and it's been awhile since she do stage modelling anyway so she is kinda awkward if you see the video
