Yes, she got implants a little bit ago. Not sure of the exact date but she posted sets with them back in August. Really wish she didn't get them, her tits looked great before, now they're ugly bolt ons.

The unfortunate truth is, most of these girls operate on herd mentality. They tend to join the work (cosplay, whatever) and follow the lead of a girl they already liked, often completely copying them. Back then we had the Nigri clones (and everyone that copied her got bolt-ons), then we had the Amouranth clones (same deal with the tits), then we had the Belle Delphine clones (again, implants for all clones)...
I can't really tell who Kovicki followed, but there's a good chance her implants come from copying someone she followed. Very few of these girls think for themselves after joining the environment, this isn't even a dig on Kovicki herself, it's on almost the entire industry. And obviously, there's a chance she was one of those free thinkers and she just decided bowling tits sell better (which is unfortunately true, they lose part of the old followers but gain a lot more that can't tell the tits are implants or don't care).
 
I think the herd in this case would be people like me, who prefer women with fake boobs. You and the guys in the thread have a better taste than me, but I think that people like me are the majority.
I have a holistic approach on how I rank my current favorite pornstars, and I combine beauty, hotness, recent frequency of new content and amount of content (specially b/g) in her most sexy body peak.
Kovicki, despite having few content with the fake boobs posted yet, currently leads my favorite pornstars ranking (and I know 100s of pornstars). This combination of beauty and body hit hard an old-fashioned porn appreciator like me.
 
100%, I have no doubt the majority are on the side of bigger boobs (no matter how). You just happen to be in an extra niche group that prefers actual fake boobs. The thing is, for better or worse, as long as people don't know (or can't tell) the boobs are fake, bigger will always sell better. Evidently there's a cut off before it's just a sag sack (and there's a market for that as well), but bigger does better than petite for porn boobs. The bounce simply looks good on camera.
And for what it's worth, I think Kovicki did a decent job with her implants. She wasn't really bereft of boobs from the get go (which is why I think she implanted because some girl she copies did, because she had enough to by), so she didn't add much and she retained some very decent bounciness to them, unlike some girls that go WAY too hard on the implants and just become balloons with no physics (Luxlo and Rocksy Light come to mind).
 
Anyone got recs of girls with her body proportions pre implants that also make content?
 
The implants are fine imo. would've preferred she stayed natural too. but they don't distract or are a significant downgrade like hidori rose or other clear botch jobs
 
The bolt ons are disappointing but as long as she don't lose that ass I can look past it
