As for SOOP's business strategy, they probably have no choice—they have to maintain the illusion of being a clean, wholesome platform for social and economic reasons, which is the only way this kind of suggestive sexy dance content can even exist in the first place.

In the end, this means Haumpah's current watered-down streams will probably just continue like this. I'm fucking heartbroken.
 
To be fair, they used to be a normal site back in the back back times with starcraft, lineage, mukbang and rather primitive dancing when models made more money offline and just came to chat and rant, at best sell their cosplay books. You know when JustinTV didn't know what to do about Scrub streams.
Of course that all changed, very much with reeca's approval, but it's a bit unfair to say reecas old guys' vision, where to go back to, came from nothing.
 
haumpah had some good outfits and streams since she returned from SOOP to Twitch. also she does much more full dances than before on SOOP. just recently she is holding back with the outfits but there were not so many bans on Twitch for her compared to moru.
 
Indeed. And that part is still there. Yet, the trend shifted quite a lot into what we have today. It also feels like soop accelerated that penomenon after afreeca was closed
 
SOOP and SOOP global were merged several months ago. there is only one site now but they started to integrate some features from SOOP global into SOOP. they also use only sooplive.com instead of sooplive.co.kr and redirect the Korean domain to the .com one.
 
The current streams are literally no different from just jerking off to a woman's face. Every non-explicit KBJ stream is basically this now.
 
Missed that part, you're right. But I could swear that it was still .co.kr for me a month ago or so.
 
I think this change was indeed pretty much recently because I needed to modify my python scripts for this in April.
 
There's still some geoshenanigans. In most cases both should work, but .com is the new preferred domain.
 
at least I needed to change it for the check if the channel is live. recording was still working with the old co.kr too and now it still works in some cases but I would change to new domain to avoid recording issues in the future just in case SOOP decides to change it secretly.
 
Man... there are no good new KBJs, and everyone's service is terrible—I can't even jerk off properly anymore. I feel like I've lost one of my main pleasures in life. This sucks.

Soop has good features (heatmaps for stuff like chat messages on VODs, AI feature that recaps the stream for you when you come in late, etc) that I've not seen on any other site. And from the little I've seen their translated subtitles are top tier, to be fair that isn't saying a whole lot considering how bad those tend to be in general. Whatever bad history the site might have I think the people running it have some pretty cool ideas.
You gotta pay dude. She's not running a charity.
 
Well,the global site did actually close down. The Korean site went back to what it was previously,with language options
