If Minecraft had an issue with it, they would have raised a stink after she was featured so prominently in all the photos of the movie premiere - despite being only the +1 of an official partner, right in between the partners and actors. She did mention she got a lot of networking done that day and got on well with several devs. She has been part of an official charity stream with one of the devs before this.

I believe she has completely outsourced handling the OF to the agency. Part of her workaround for Japan was that she would make occasional trips to US, shoot a bunch of sets and hand it over and go back so she does not violate her visa
 
Yeah, I assume she's doing it to get around the Japan issue. If she wanted to do it to be lazy I feel like she would've done it a while ago
