People date for all kinds of reasons. Some may assume it’s for clout, money, etc., and maybe it is, but stranger things have happened. Despite his superficial issues, Asmongold seems to be the person people in his orbit go to for advice. He’s clearly good at talking to people, and there could be a connection there that people online simply don’t see. Confidence, personality, humor, intelligence, and chemistry can matter a lot more than conventional attractiveness.
If you need proof, look at Julia Roberts and Lyle Lovett. At the height of her career, she was one of Hollywood’s most sought after women, while Lovett was hardly considered conventionally attractive. Yet they married. Their relationship ultimately ended, and she only attributed it to the physical separation caused by their careers. My point being, on the internet & in life, attraction and compatibility are more complicated than judging two people's physical attributes.
Until she passed unexpectedly, I landed my wife (who would be considered out of my league) because I made her laugh and she could be her genuine self around me. We just meshed like that. That's really all it takes for most people. And hell, sometimes dating other beautiful people is just more drama than its worth.
