I made plenty of friends during my master’s. If you live in any city and work outside, you’ll end up with friends from different countries.
The wedding ceremonies lasted a week, and I spent another two weeks exploring with my friend. The number of women in India is 2x the US population. If things were really that bad, you’d see it in the news every day non-stop, especially on X with the current trend.
search this forum for indian girls and you’ll find plenty of OF girls who are very much alive and not getting “graped” everyday.

Our president is a former tv star who bragged about grabbing women by their genitalia and walking in on girls in their changing rooms, made weird comments about his daughter, cheated on all of his 3 wives, civilly convicted of grape and 77 million people voted for him knowing all of this and he's been our president twice in the last decade
We pretend to be a first-world country and there's prominent christian influencers talking about why women shouldn't vote and should get back in the kitchen to cook and clean. We are just as misogynistic as other countries.
