Made this thread because there’s no good way of discussing this on the main thread. I know Jaiden has stated multiple times she’s aroace, and Alpharad has said that he’s probably bi but shows signs of being ace as well, but like, idk man this looks pretty weird for “just friends who live together”.

“And they were roommates”

All i'm gonna say is that there is nothing in "Aroace-identity" that, like, forbids intimacy. It's just defined as lacking romantic attraction/desire. There are scores of people out there that have non-romantic fuck buddies. And what really is romance that couldn't really be defined as two or more people being really really close "friends."
Nevermind that I may, also, think that Aroace doesn't need its own definition. Like I feel it's just one way to say that you're not that into anyone in your life right now. They're both in their 20s, are they going to be abstinent their entire lives? Honestly I think she sort of talked her way into a corner by publicly not being public about her relationships up until she was like "oh hey im aroace btw guys." Almost to try and persuade people to quit making porn of her/her persona.
Maybe i'm too much of a boomer, but I sort of quit paying attention to all the asexuals out there. Like I get gay, bi, pan, trans, all that jazz. But a-anything? How do you not want to have sex? It's literally programmed into our heads to want to have sex. Either to procreate or just to scratch an itch.

As someone who has a lot of friends on the asexual spectrum I can completely get people being ace just being uncomfortable with the thought of being intimate with a real person for various reasons (trauma, dysmorphia, general disinterest, not being horny at all, etc). Even the group of those who masturbate regularly or have tried still stand by the fact that they're just generally not interested in having sex with people, not necessarily that they're against it. But yea I would say it's an entirely different "spectrum" than say being gay/bi/straight, some people want to be in relationships but just have disinterest in sex, some people want to be abstinent/isolated their entire life, it just depends on the person.
What feels weird to me though is that Jaiden stated she also experiences explicit disinterest in relationships, and her video on it seems to line up as well. No crushes, no feeling of wanting to be in a relationship, and eventually you develop an understanding of why people do it but feeling no urge to do it yourself. I can get maybe if Alpha was the one who approached her, but anyways, it just feels kinda odd to me.
Regardless, I just want to see what other people think is going on with them. At first, I thought people were just being weird about them moving in together, but now it seems like it might be a little more than just that.

I've watched a bunch of her youtube videos, and some of her live stuff, and she really doesn't come across as trauma. Her personality really comes across hard like she was a real late bloomer. (Nothing wrong with that.) And super heavy on the social anxiety. (Again, nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.) I believe there is a section in her coming out video or maybe one specifically about romantic relationships and how she's "bad" at them. She mentioned having a crush or two, one in primary school in her teens, and then again in college. I think the college one was where it was close to physical intimacy, and I read between the lines that she was uncomfortable so called it off. Again, nothing wrong at all about that. Actually pretty common with girls to be anxious their first time. Hell it's not that uncommon for guys, either.
Anyway, my entire point is that it is a lot easier to say "no, i don't want to have sex with any of the people in my life right now," and a lot more socially acceptable to say, rather then make it your entire identity. As for her and Alphread is that they may be fucking on the side. It's pretty easy to buy if they're discrete about it. And it's also really really easy to buy that all their close friends are in on the "keep it on the down low." Them saying, repeatedly, just comes across as selling the secret. But she, no doubt, recognizes that she more legitimize a bunch of young lgbtqa people who feel like they either identity as aroace or feel like they want to fit in on the spectrum and need that identity. So she needs to commit to the identity now. But, to further my opinion, there is a lot of time between now in their 20s, and some time in their 80s or 90s, ya know? Time changes a lot of things about people.

Asexuality is perfectly valid, and I truly believe she is asexual (and possibly a virgin) herself.
If you identify with a specific group that happens to be rare, it's only natural that you'd want to show people it's nothing to gawk at or shame. It makes it easier to breathe for both yourself and others in the group.
That being said, sexuality is fluid
She is only 26 and is incredibly attractive and popular. If she wanted to experiment in the future, she could do so at any time.
If she doesn't become sexually active and more risque with her content in the future, that's fine.
If she does, that's also fine.
The 2nd option would admittedly make me more invested tho 👀

I'm going to say this image is pretty telling (Source: Alpha's Instagram story)

Jaiden & Jacob are like so obviously dating but keeping it private, likely to stir away speculation and to keep their intimate/personal lives private. :p
There's a clip of Jacob talking about Jaiden and he accidentally refers to her as "his girlfriend" entirely unprompted and he corrects himself as he facepalms 🤣
It's chill though, I can imagine Jaiden probably has explored her sexuality/intimacy more lately with her becoming more confident and learning more about herself in the last 5 years. Happy to experience her growth and see wherever she goes :3

Yeahh
Asexuality is one thing... libido is another.
I've genuinely known girls who felt repulsed by sex, committed to lifelong virginity, and entered chaste relationships with others who were celibate. However, when their hormones began to hit, they got laid and quickly became quite addicted to it.

We are not seeing the Jaiden Animations onlyfans in this lifetime be so real 🤣 At best she'll probably just talk about grotesque things more and/or be more vulgar and expressive

Oh I never said anything about that lol.
I only said sexuality is fluid.
Her content and personality is way too family friendly to ever change.

An idea I spontaneously just thought of would be Jaiden re-instating her Patreon and putting 18+/exclusive storytimes about her personal/maybe intimate life on there. Would be interesting
Doubt she would tho she is a pretty private person

I always think of this comic every time I hear about her one of these days :LULW:

I can see where people are coming from here. Rubbing your face against someone is indeed a weird thing to do platonically, that textbox does look like it's being used to cover something up, and the word "girlfriend" is practically never used platonically nowadays. On the other hand, I see no reason to not believe that she's aromantic. Considering how much backlash celebrities get for Queerbaiting, I doubt she'd be dumb enough to outright lie about her sexuality.
He does clearly seem to love her a lot, which I guess is ultimately sweet regardless of what's going on. (Her smile does look somewhat forced to me in these pictures, but she looks like that most of the time so ... that may just be what her face looks like.)
Honestly, even if nothing weird is happening, I still think it's nice to see pictures like this. We live in a world where lot of people seem to believe that any genuine expression of love can only be be romantic. I think that's partially where the whole "loneliness epidemic" comes from. Especially considering how young a lot of her audience is, I think it's good to show that you can have a fulfilling, affectionate relationship with other people even if you're just friends.

Agreed. Although, it's also possible that she is still discovering herself and her sexuality, and rushed into making a video that may no longer hold true to how she's feeling currently - But one that resonated with so many people that it would be too controversial if she was to let other people know that she is no longer uninterested in intimacy.

I mean, I doubt it'd be that big of a deal if that was the case. It's not like she's made this a major part of her brand. It'd be pretty easy to add a typical "this video may not reflect the current situation" note like she's done in the past when people she collaborated with got in trouble (if I'm remembering correctly).
That being said, it's also generally difficult to discuss anything related to sexuality while remaining 100% "family-friendly", which Youtube tends to want. Maybe there's some nuances about her sexuality she didn't want to cover for fear of crossing that arbitrary line. I know there have been cases of similar LGBT-related content getting wrongfully flagged as "inappropriate" in the past.

With jacob moving from LA maybe it disproves this whole thing and they were just very touchy and platonic lmao

He is? I don't keep up on all the latest gossip.
Who's to say she isn't going with him? Or maybe it's an amicable split? All good things come to an end, as the bard says.
