Just saw Obsession at the theater... man, she was incredible. Can't wait to see what she does in the future.... I love this chick now lol.
 
I saw the movie five times, and before, I wanted to be an actor or director but never committed to doing anything in the film realm. Now, this movie, and especially Indie, lit a fire under my ass, and I’m seriously considering going to film school. I hope to meet Indie someday, especially since she says she loves to play pool, as do I.
 
I would recommend saving the money you would spend on film school. Just get your money up and write until you have a good enough script that's worth investing in. All that technical crap... Quentin Tarantino said just hire people who know how to do that stuff and tell them what to do. That's what he's done and we see how awesome his films are.

Same. Just saw it tonight and she was AMAZING doing the mood switches and sanity slipping and ... everything. Just, wow.
 
She's most likely getting nominated. Obsession's one of the biggest success stories for an original movie this century which the Oscars love. It's also not slop they would gatekeep as both critics and audiences are raving it, and her performance is the biggest reason it's so popular.
 
I've been following her since Superman & Lois and really liked her. Until a few months ago, there was a controversy with Cooper i think. I don't remember if people were talking here or on reddit but the whole scenario was against her so i didn't really pay attention to it and stopped following the whole scene. Thought her career might be over after that but i can't find anything on it anymore. Any of y'all know what that was?
