couldnt get 1DM to work, unfortunately. anyone know another way? I know it can be tricky since theyre DRM videos...
 
So... Yeah. Upon further investigating and research it's not possible using IDM or anything similar. DMM is utilizing DRM technology which isn't allowing me to download/ screen record. If there is a way to bypass the DRM it's completely secret and isn't shared anywhere online (from what I can see).
With that, DMM just released an update on their website saying certain videos will be removed and any purchase will be revoked issuing refunds in the form of DMM points. Which ones? They havent said... Anyways, I tried... Here a pic of Ichika. Enjoy.
 
You can use xtreme downloder manager(+ extension) to download the online version, make sure you use a vpn(japan), XDM will download the .ts archive(make sure to select 6k bitrate), people can convert to mp4 wit ffmpeg.
Use the firefox XDM extension (google doesn't seems to work),
https://xtremedownloadmanager.com/ (download windows 7.2.8 MSI installer)
https://addons.mozilla.org/ja/firefox/addon/xdm-browser-monitor/
You may need to try 2-3 times, because sometimes the download stop and you need to start again
MAKE SURE YOUR ARE USING A VPN(JAPAN) and once the download start close the video.
 
Great! I'll give this a try. I was able to download a number of these .ts video files, so hopefully the conversion works! I'll keep you guys posted!
 
Once you install ffmpeg
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ (download ffmpeg-release-full.7z ), you only need the ffmpeg.exe
use this command(cmd) to convert.
ffmpeg -i tsvideo.ts -c copy mp4video.mp4

ex.
ffmpeg -i DMMPlayer.ts -c copy ichikavideo2.mp4
You only need to download the 6000k video aka full hd
If you cant convert just up the ts files, also before converting check the duration of the video with vlc, sometimes(rarely) xdm dont download the entire video.

Is this still working? Having trouble getting it to start. Just keep getting "Server sent an invalid response". Though I only bought HD streaming. Would I need to buy HD download?
 
I don't think that's an issue. I couldn't get it to work unfortunately. I gave up. DMM makes it too difficult, plus their entire website updated to DMM.TV. Now I can't stream any of my purchased videos even with a VPN.
 
Anyone have those VR vids?
Can we still watch them without the VR box?
