I was thinking that. Also, going thru SRS requires a few months of prep time, and a long surgery aftercare. There are risks from the operation itself, also. And if she has working commitments, she may not have the time or willingness to do it.
 
Guys what do yall think about these rumors that she is a potential actress to play Mystique in the upcoming X-men movie?

I think she could pull off the role and be a sexy mutant. Idk if it would happen but would love to see her in that blue bodysuit :PogTasty:

I'd love for her to play mystique but I don't think it's substantiated by anyone but fans. also idk where Disney would stand on casting a trans actress, pretty high chance of getting flak for it
 
I think it's just a rumour. I did see someone tweet that it might not be the best idea for a trans actor to be cast as someone who disguises themselves to mislead others, which is a good point lol, especially in the current social/political climate
 
people keep saying she should play mystique cause shes a transwoman and i never really got the correlation.
Mystique changes gender all the time to mislead and kill her enemies, so i dunno why everyones first thought is Hunter 😂

nah it's her face I think. in a world where Hunter didn't exist I think that Anya Taylor Joy would be what people want for mystique. Slim face, unusually eye placement/shape, strong cheekbones
 
i think hunter would be a decent choice not because she's trans and a "shapeshifter" like the character. i think she has the appearance and can pull off an action role. i think she has the chops.
 
i mean yea its more of a fancast lol although ive seen articles and posts that say that marvel is in talks of her being potentially cast but take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt.

i think the chances of hunter actually getting the role is 35% to 40% specifically for what you said about disney being chicken shit for backpedaling on being so called "progressive." Although, the actor who is gonna play cyclops is openly bisexual so make that what you will.
